At Wright Healing Place, we can accommodate up to seven women at a time, creating a warm, home-like atmosphere that feels far less overwhelming than larger shelters or hospitals. We prioritize privacy and confidentiality by offering semi-private rooms to ensure the safety and comfort of the women we serve.
Understanding that recovery and growth are most effective when individualized, we partner with the VA and other trusted referrals for mental health, job training, and permanent housing
Our approach emphasizes choice, compassion, peacefulness, predictability, and empowerment rather than clinical treatment. By utilizing a non-clinical model, survivors can access community resources through referrals, which gives them time to unwind, decompress, and decide the next step in their lives. We recognize that healing begins with feeling secure, heard, and in control of oneself.
At Wright Healing Place, every aspect of our organization is designed around the principles of safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and choice, enabling each woman to carve out her unique journey toward recovery and renewed hope.
We offer trauma-informed housing, support services, and empowerment to survivors of military sexual trauma, displacement, and domestic violence.

Enjoy a secure and peaceful environment where survivors can heal and rebuild their lives free from pressure or fear.

We offer resources, advocacy, and peer support for individuals to make informed choices at their own pace.
We prioritize respect, dignity, safety, and choice, identifying immediate needs and barriers of the individual.
Women experiencing domestic violence often face mental health challenges; we bridge this gap with support services.
Our mission at Wright Healing Place is to provide a secure, nurturing, and dignified sanctuary for survivors of domestic violence, military sexual trauma, and displacement. We believe that every survivor deserves a peaceful space to heal, regain autonomy, and move forward without added pressure. By fostering empowerment and respect, we aim to break cycles of trauma and support lifelong healing and stability.
